Ralph Nader tells the TRUTH and Barack Obama fails to Address the Real Issue

"Obama wants to show that he is not as threatening . . . another politically threatening African-American politician...He wants to appeal to white guilt. You appeal to white guilt not by coming on as black is beautiful, black is powerful." –Ralph Nader

"There's only one thing different about Barack Obama when it comes to being a Democratic presidential candidate. He's half African-American. Whether that will make any difference, I don't know. I haven't heard him have a strong crackdown on economic exploitation in the ghettos. Payday loans, predatory lending, asbestos, lead. What's keeping him from doing that? Is it because he wants to talk white? He doesn't want to appear like Jesse Jackson? We'll see all that play out in the next few months and if he gets elected afterwards." –Ralph Nader

Now, what is wrong with both statements? If Obama was a "threatening" black man he would be on the sidelines watching. No doubt! Obama can't be black power this and black power that; and get elected in America which means he can't be forthright about issues like the exploitation of poor black neighborhoods. He would surely be an Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Jim Brown, etc. if he did stand behind the issues that affect Shaquita and Tyrone. Not to take anything away from Brown, Farrakhan, and Sharpton considering I love me some black nationalistic chatter and efforts, neither would ever be president of these United States. They are too black, while Obama is not. Well, he can’t give any suggestions that he is! He fits right in with what the liberals want from a black man: 'Don't you rock the boat, Black Boy.'

Again, Barack needs to stop whining! "Inflammatory"? Whatever! Every time someone makes an accurate statement or close to accuracy about him he coins it as inflammatory. How about it is the truth? And, besides Nader’s statement about him “talking white” only meant that Barack Obama’s leash tightens when he talks that black talk and loosens when he stay in the liberal world. Which one would you chose: choking or breathing?

Mr. Jones forced to Change his Image, and Imus is a Changed Man?

An Imus racial controversy exploded Monday morning when sportscaster Warner Wolf told Don Imus that Mr. Jones wanted to be known by his birth name now, Adam Bernard Jones, and not as that 1980’s video game so many of us enjoyed playing: Pac Man. But, before Mr. Jones becomes the Toby the Dallas Cowboys requires that he becomes, Mr. Don Imus had his quintessential say:

"He's been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005," Wolf said. "What color is he?" Imus asked. "He's African-American," Wolf responded. "Well, there you go," Imus said. "Now we know."

As expected some sensitive ear and ACLU posturing black folk are upset. Bothered. In a fix because a well- known racist made a comment that fringes on being “racist”. Figure that, a white racist making a stereotypical racist comment. No way! That does not happen! I really cannot believe Al Sharpton, who I respect by the way, is on the verge of making an attempt to censor Imus. AGAIN.

"I find the inference of his remark disturbing because it plays into stereotypes. Any use of stereotypes is always counterproductive… We will determine in the next day or so whether or not his remark warrants direct action on our part."

Al can’t be serious. Someone please tell me that Al Sharpton is not coming to the defense of a black man who casually breaks the law. Yes, I understand that he is more than likely standing up for what is right: Combating Stereotypes. However, what message are we sending each and every time we puff our chest out, put up our fist, and prepare to defend black men and women who apparently do not respect themselves, the white man’s law, and/or African American culture? Wait a minute! Is there such a thing? African American mores?

If this Atlanta native wants to be someone new, how about he commits to becoming a ‘changed man’ before some blanched owned organization demands he does. Does he think we (the public) believe he suddenly decided to be someone other than what he has been since 2005: An idiot who wastes his earnings in strip clubs (Making it Rain)? Yep, Pacman makes it rain – but he has never provided a ray of sunlight on the reputations of hard working black men throughout this judgmental nation.

Today’s, Adam Jones is who he has been ORDERED to be because Massa Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys' owner, signs the checks and because Pacman could not make the intelligent, responsible, and mature decision himself to be the MAN God wanted him to be. That man’s name is on his proof of citizenship.

As for Don Imus, he has been the same John Wayne bigot for YEARS. Ain’t no changing him. He will die a ten gallon hat wearing hate monger. At least he has the guts to be the man he has proven to be: A Consistent Racist. Well, he did until he started backpedaling like a cornerback Tuesday, “I meant that he was being picked on because he's black…just a sarcastic point.” Inconsequently, Adam Jones had to become Pacman in his efforts to escape his self-hatred which was created by Imus and his good ole boy club members – but DEFINITELY enhanced by Pacman’s conscious refusal to be an aboveboard black man.

Perhaps Mr. Jones has been touched by God. He did say, “Obviously Mr. Imus has problems with African-Americans. I'm upset, and I hope the station he works for handles it accordingly. I will pray for him." God does work in runic ways!

Obama’s Blast: Wrong Day?
I commend Barack Obama for recently pulling the coat of black men who help create children and then abandon them with such cowardice justification: “Any fool can make a baby, but it takes dedication and commitment to be a father.” So true! His personal history lends credence to his statement considering he is a product of a single mother. Again, I salute him for addressing an issue many fail to acknowledge is an MAJOR epidemic within the black community e.g. words from the typical black mother: ‘I can raise my son myself. I don’t need that Negro.’ Black women and their new destructive attitudes!

I remember when Bill Cosby commandingly uttered similar words to Barack’s. But, because he said it with such so called disdain for the neglectful behavior he was immediately reprimanded by scores of black men and women. Another truth teller shot down as an old quack because he said IT in a language that we all as black people knowingly understand: NO JIVE TALK, BUT STRAIGHT TALK. Cosby probably was beat-up relentlessly by Michael Eric Dyson-types because he aired our soiled laundry in ear shot of white people. A laundry that is well known by those folk we for some reason believe are not already aware that some of our black fathers are MIA. Just down-right losers who have evaded personal responsibility and accountability.

I also was amazed Barack Obama found it necessary to tell the truth at this time. Yes, he was at a black church delivering the message on Father's Day. The typical place these days where outlandish, but truthful dialect is shared with the world. He was on holy ground: ‘The Marvelous Black Church’. However, Mr. Obama has yet, during this campaign, to sit down with black leaders to discuss this critical matter. And, let’s be frank, it is not a serious campaign talking point considering he will be Everyone’s President. Righhht?

Barack waited to voice his opinion during a time when he was assured to receive A LOT of publicity, Father’s Day. A day Tim Russert’s family was more than likely praising him.

The national media carried Obama’s statements as their leading story concerning him all day Monday. Was this their way of reminding black people that the ‘leaders’ of the black family are chumps? We are well informed in this department. We have people like Barack Obama and Bill Cosby who have told us that we are America’s failures. Thanks, Barack. Thanks for highlighting the obvious, and not glorifying the JJ Steele’s, Harvey Johnson’s, Eric Johnson’s, and Patrick Medley’s. Four of MANY responsible black men! Just what we need: another indictment handed down by a black man in the pulpit of a black church.

The purpose of my commentary:

I am a little bothered that Obama blasted these black men on such a large scale on a day we should have been honoring the black fathers who take full custody of their children because momma is the deadbeat. Actually, I am so blown by the number of black women who have decided that they do not care to be a mother after birthing a child.

Perhaps, I am conflicted: Why be upset with Barack when I was not with Bill? Why the turn around this week when I spend countless hours criticizing with truth the black man?

One thing you can expect from me: TRANSPARENCY with the hopes my hypocrisy will be held up to criticism. At least I am admitting to it.

Inspired by effort to provide full disclosure while praying that you will have the same moment of reflection if you are guilty of what I have conveyed to you today or if hypocrisy taps you on the shoulder from time to time. What say you? More on Barack's Criticism of the black men deserving a reprimand:
